GNDU Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

GNDU admission 2024 will start in May 2024 tentatively. The online application form will be available on the college website. GNDU admission 2024 is done through various state-level entrance exams like GATE/ JEE Main or GNDU Management Entrance Test (GMET) for management programmes. Some of the popular courses offered by GNDU include BTech admission to which is done through JEE Main. Some of the other major courses offered by GNDU at undergraduate levels are BArch, BEd, BBA, BCA, BA, etc. The postgraduate courses offered by the institute include MA, MTech, MBA, MCA, etc. 

GNDU MBA admission is done on the basis of the GNDU Management Entrance Test (GMET) which is conducted by the university itself. Admission to MTech/ MBA courses is done on the basis of the GATE entrance exam score. BArch admission is done through JEE Main paper 2 exam. Admission to other courses like BSc, BA, BCom, LLB, etc. is done through merit obtained in the qualifying exam.

For GNDU admissions to various courses in 2024, the application process will commence in May and conclude in June. For programmes requiring entrance exams like JEE Main, the exam will be conducted in two phases between January 24 and February 1, 2024.

GNDU provides admission at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels. All of these courses are available in full-time regular mode only. Admission to BTech course at GNDU is done through performance of candidates in JEE Main exam. MBA and MTech admissions at GNDU is done through GATE scores while admission to BArch courses is done through JEE Main paper 2 exam. GNDU PG Admission to courses like MBA and MTech is done through entrance exams like GATE. Meanwhile, admission to other PG courses like MCA, MPT, MPA, MEd, etc. is done through merit obtained in the qualifying UG degree. GNDU admission is also offered to various international students. For every course at GNDU, one extra seat may be created to admit a foreign student sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resources in any course provided necessary physical facilities are available and the candidate fulfills the following conditions:

• All foreign students seeking admission to this university should get either a sponsorship or no objection certificate from govt. of India. however, candidates sponsored by govt. of India will be preferred.
• All such candidates have to meet a minimum requirement of eligibility for admission to the respective course.
• No admission will be made after the last date of admission.
• All foreign students will be admitted only after getting an eligibility certificate issued for the course from the general branch of the university.
• Foreign students must have a student visa issued by the govt. of India.

Step 3: Upload scanned copies of necessary documents for verification.

Step 4: Pay the application fee online to complete the process.

List of Documents Required to Apply for GNDU Admission 2024

General Documents:

• Scanned passport-size photograph: Recent color photograph with a white background.
• Signature scan: Clear scan of your signature in black ink.
• Class 10 and 12 mark sheets: Attested copies of mark sheets/grade cards from recognized boards.
• UG mark sheets (if applicable): Attested copies of mark sheets/grade cards for undergraduate programs.
• PG mark sheets (if applicable): Attested copies of mark sheets/grade cards for postgraduate programs.
• Aadhaar card scan: Copy of your Aadhaar card for identification.

Additional Documents (if applicable):

• Entrance exam scorecard: Scanned copy of your scorecard for programs requiring entrance exams like JEE Main, NEET, or GNDU CET.
• Caste certificate (if applicable): Valid SC/ST/OBC certificate issued by the competent authority.
• Category certificate (if applicable): Valid PwD certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
• Migration certificate: Transfer certificate from the last attended institution, if applicable.

The registration fee for GNDU Admissions is Rs 1200 for general category and Rs 600 for SC/ST category. GNDU Application Fee is non refundable in any case. Candidates applying for BTech Courses (except B.Tech. Urban & Regional Planning) & BArch have to pay Rs 2000 counselling fee along with GNDU UG Application Fee.
