IET Alwar offers admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degree courses in the field of management and technology. The IET Alwar admission process for UG and PG courses is officially notified on the official website of the institute.

In order to be eligible for the course of B.Tech at Institute of Engineering & Technology, Alwar, candidates must satisfy the below-mentioned criteria:

• Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) as the combination of subjects along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject.
• Must have obtained not less than 45% marks in each of the subjects. The same shall be 40% marks for reserved category candidates. 
• The qualifying exam must be conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other exam recognised equivalent thereto by the same board or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
• Diploma or B.Sc students with the LEEP in 2nd year of B.Tech may also apply for which 20% seats are reserved.
   

The eligibility criteria for M.Tech at IET Alwar have been mentioned below:

• Candidates must have qualified B.E./B.Tech from any recognised university.
• Candidates must have scored not less than 55% aggregate marks or 6.25 CGPA on 10 points scale and 50% aggregate marks or 5.75 CGPA for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
• Candidates with an M.SC or MCA degree must have a valid GATE score.

Admission to the B.Tech/M.Tech course is done through Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) based on the rank obtained in JEE Mains.
