IIM Amritsar Campus & Infrastructure

The Indian Institute of Management Amritsar (IIMA) is furnished with state of art infrastructure & modern technologies. The campus of Indian Institute of Management, Amritsar is 10km from the airport and five km away from the railway station, located in the city of Amritsar. All classrooms and seminar rooms available at the campus are air-conditioned & spacious equipped with facilities like LCD projector, internet access, Speakers etc to make the learning experience entertainment for the students.

Indian Institute of Management Amritsar library is a repository of textbooks, journals, magazines, CD’s, case studies, project reports on a wide range of subjects. The library of IIM Amritsar is an open-access library and it also has the facility of E-Journal. IIMA Library is fully automated with 24 internet availability. In addition to print materials, the library offers thousands of books, journals, magazines, videos, cases and newspapers in the electronic format.

IIM Amritsar is a fully wifi-enabled campus where the student, faculty members & other staff members can seamlessly use the internet facility without any restrictions. The computer lab at Indian Institute of Management Amritsar has large number of PCs with multi-terminal facilities. It offers a 24-hour internet facility to the students. The computer lab at IIM Amritsar offers students practical sessions and provides Management Application. Intensive practical training on computers is compulsory for all students of the IIMA. Sports are also taken seriously at IIMA. The campus also has a Student's Activity Area, with provision for playing Table Tennis and Badminton inside the hall. Outside games, the students can use the grounds of the institute to play various sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Tennis etc.

Many facilities are available at the campus including state-of-the-art IT-enabled classrooms, indoor & outdoor sports facilities, auditorium, Student activity room, and Gymnasium. There is a multi-gymnasium located in the building. Indoor sports facilities are also available in the student's residences and many other facilities are provided by the institute like Hostel, Cafeteria, Health Care, Mess etc. IIM Amritsar Hostel facility  provides a residential comfort to the students admitted to the institute. All hostels are equipped with security measures, mess, sports facility, Medical Facility, Internet and many others. Students of IIM Amritsar also run clubs and societies of different themes and interest which is available for freshers to join.  

IIM Amritsar Hostel  facilities include 2 or 3 BHK flats on twin sharing, bed, study table, Wi-Fi, Chair, Cupboard, recreation room, gym, sports area. Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner is provided by the hostel. The Hostel and Mess Committee takes good care of the hostel infrastructure, housekeeping issues and other such hostel related issues.
