IIM Bangalore scholarships or financial aid are provided to students who are in need of financial assistance. PGP students with an annual household income below Rs 8,00,000 are eligible to apply for IIM Bangalore scholarships. In addition to the financial aid, the students are also offered several IIM Bangalore merit based or merit-cum-need based scholarships and the details are given below:
- Aditya Birla Scholarship: This merit-based scholarship is given to PGP students in both the first and second years. The students who are granted the IIM Bangalore scholarship during the first year are eligible to apply for renewal in the second year, provided they belong to the top 25% of the batch in the first year. The IIM Bangalore scholarship amount is Rs 1.75 lakh per student.
- OPJEMS Scholarship: This IIM Bangalore merit-based scholarship of Rs 1.50 lakh is given by the OP Jindal Group to one student in each academic year.
- Citi Women's Leader Award: This IIM Bangalore merit-based scholarship is of Rs 4 lakh. Candidates are selected from the top 25% of the batch at the end of the first year. Nomination is done by the Institute and the students are selected on the basis of their Statement of Purpose and subsequent interviews scheduled by Citi.
- Societe Generale Global Solution Centre India Scholarship: This is a means scholarship that covers tuition expenses in full. The neediest applicants are selected in the first year. Students are selected on the basis of the nominations made by the institute, and on the basis of their needs and subsequent interviews conducted by Societe Generale.
- Siddhartha Padam Award: This IIM Bangalore scholarship is awarded to the PGP student who gets the best marks in the financial area. It carries a cash prize of Rs 50,000, a medallion, and a certificate.
- IIMB PGP Alumni First Batch (1976) Scholarship: This IIM Bangalore scholarship is for differently-abled female students from PGP. The IIM Bangalore scholarship aims to assist a differently-abled female or a differently-abled male if there is no female candidate. It keeps alive the memory of the PGP '76 batch and their association with the institute. The IIM Bangalore scholarship is worth Rs 50,000, a medallion and a certificate.
- Sir Ratan Tata Trust Scholarship: IIM Bangalore awards scholarships to meritorious students under the Trust's Studies in India Programme. Five nominations are invited each year from students studying in their second year and who are in the top 10% of the batch at the end of their first year of studies. The IIM Bangalore scholarship is worth Rs 100000.
- Hindustan Unilever/T Thomas Scholarship: This IIM Bangalore merit-cum-means scholarship is given by HUL to one PGP second year student. The selection is based on the criteria provided by the company. The IIM Bangalore scholarship is worth Rs 1,00000.
