The IIM Trichy executive MBA course is the only course offered by the institute for which there is no requirement to appear or qualify in the CAT exam. IIM Trichy and other IIMs provide Executive MBA programmes without a CAT prerequisite if you have a job experience of almost 2 years (preferably). Nevertheless, these programmes frequently include GMAT or GRE requirements in addition to having strict work experience requirements. There is no course offered by IIM Trichy for the candidates who have just passed class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. The Common Admission Process, or IIM CAP, is a centralized admission procedure which is conducted by all the participating IIMs in India.
