Overall IIT(BHU)Varanasi is among the top 10 IITs and possesses a great rank among engineering colleges. Here are some of the key features of our college: 1) Academic experience: The academics are chill here at IIT BHU. If you attend the classes regularly and pay attention during the lectures 90% of the job is done. Studying 1-2 weeks before mid-semester and around 15 days before end-semester will ensure a good CPI. 2)Faculty: All the faculty members are highly qualified, possess great knowledge regarding their subject, and are indulged in cutting-edge research and collaborate with various organizations and industries. 3)Infrastructure: The infrastructure is somewhat disappointing here. Hostels and lecture halls are not equipped with the latest technology and lack basic amenities. However, the newly made Shreenivas Deshpande Library and Student Activity Centre are built great. 4)Research opportunities: The research opportunities are great here. The institute is indulged in various research projects thus students who are willing to work can get work under the faculty members. Also, a research club is present here which helps students to get research internships in various national and international universities. 5)Placements: Placements are great here at IIT BHU. In 2023-24, the institute bagged a 1.68cr package as the highest domestic package and 77l as the highest international offer. Various companies including all the domains(SDE, ML, Quant, Analytics, Product, Core) visited the campus. Internship season was also great as around 350 students received internships with an average stipend ranging between 60k to 100k.

Placement The placements are amazing here at IIT BHU. In 2023-24, the institute bagged the highest domestic package of 1.68cr. Most of the students are placed in the 1st placement drive itself. The average package for the circuital branch is around 30 lpa. Around 350 students got an internship this year with around 300 ppo. Thus, placements are great here.

Infrastructure The infrastructure is average here as compared to other IITs. Lecture halls lack basic amenities. However, the playing grounds are maintained in good condition and the newly made library and Student activity center are great.

Faculty The faculty members are highly qualified here at IIT BHU. They possess a great knowledge regarding their subject. Most of the professors are very helpful and deliver a great lecture engaging students during the lecture. Also, the students can work with them on their projects.

Hostel The hostel which is allotted to freshers is Aryabhatta Hostel. It's a decent hostel with an average room size and provides basic amenities and a great lush view. There is a badminton court in the hostel providing a great experience and also has 2 canteens. The hostels allocated in the next years are somewhat similar.
