Overall: The IIT BHU Varanasi is about more than 100 years old. This gives a huge alumini network for college. The college provides great placement opportunities for students and a good college and hostel Life which enhances the oerall experience of students.
Faculty: The faculties of IIT BHU are highly qualified. In my department, almost all the faculties are PhD holder from prestigious places and very skillful. The behaviour of the faculties are also very good and very helpful in every case.
Overall: The college life is very vibrant and full of fests and fun. There are 3 major fests at iit bhu, the biggest one is kashiyatra the socio- cultural fest which happens to be in the month of January. Our sports fest is spardha which is Asia's largest sports fest happens in the month of October. And the technex the technical fest. There is the facility of library with all types of books , journals and research papers with ac in the reading halls. Although the classes lacks the facility of ACs which is the down side of iit bhu. There are many types of groups and clubs at iitbhu around 30 clubs which provides growth opportunity to oneself.
Faculty: In my experience the faculty is very nice and well qualified to be a teaching us. They are very smart and intelligent and many of them are well focused on research and development in thier own subject. Though one may question the teaching style and method of certain professors as they need not necessarily be good at teaching but holds emmence knowledge of what they teach. Many of them are very compationate of thier subject and eager to teach and want you to understand what they know about thier subject.
