IIM Jammu application fees for PhD programme is Rs 1,000 for general and OBC category students while SC, ST, EWS and DAP students need to pay Rs 500 as an application fee. Further, students who receive an MBA /IPM/ EMBA admission offer at IIM Jammu have to pay seat acceptance fees of Rs 50,000. If an applicant accepts the programme's admission offer, the offer acceptance fees are deducted from the term I fees.

Students willing for IIM Jammu admission without CAT have two options i.e. IPM and EMBA. Other than CAT scores, IIM Jammu admission for IPM is offered based on JIPMAT scores and admission to the EMBA programme is offered based on GMAT/GRE/IIMJAT scores.

Is CAT Mandatory to Take Admission in IIM Jammu?

No, CAT is not mandatory for IIM Jammu admission. CAT scores are only mandatory for the MBA programme offered by the Indian Institute of Management Jammu. Several programmes like certification programmes, IPM and EMBA do not require CAT scores and admission is offered based on other entrance exam scores like JIPMAT/GMAT/IIMJAT scores. 

Admission at IIM Jammu without CAT

Indian Institute of Management Jammu offers a two-year Executive MBA (EMBA) programme. IIM Jammu EMBA admission is offered for experienced professionals without CAT scores. Students having GMAT/GRE/IIMJAT scores can apply for admission to the EMBA programme. Selection of students is based on entrance exam scores followed by personal interviews. 

IIM Jammu admission after 12th is offered for the IPM programme. Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is a 5-year integrated programme where admissions are based on JIPMAT scores. The selection of students is based on a merit list created on JIPMAT scores and gender diversity. 

How Can I Join IIM Jammu after 12th?

Students can join IIM Jammu after 12th through the IPM programme. IPM programme is a 5-year full-time integrated (BBA+MBA) programme to prepare young professionals to develop their managerial and decision-making capabilities. Those who have completed their class 12 with at least 60% marks from a recognised board of education are eligible to apply for this course. After 3 years of the programme, students are awarded a BBA degree. Further, after completing the course, students are awarded an MBA degree. Note that, IIM Jammu offers an exit option with a BBA degree subject to satisfaction of required norms. 

How to Get Admission in IIM for BBA

IIM Jammu admission is not offered for the BBA programme. Instead, the institute offers BBA+MBA integrated programme i.e. IPM programme. Students who have completed class 12 with 60% marks and have valid JIPMAT scores can apply for the IPM programme. Students have to apply online before the last date to be enrolled in this programme. The authorities create a merit list based on JIPMAT scores keeping category-wise sectional cut-off in mind.

IIM Jammu CAP 2024 is a centralised selection process for admission to the MBA programme at ten new Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). These IIMs are considered "baby IIMs" as they were established much later than prestigious IIMs. The Common Admission Process (CAP) is a single-window admission process through which IIM Jammu MBA admission is conducted. Yes, IIM Jammu is among 10 IIM CAP 2024 participating institutes. IIM Jammu along with the other 9 IIMs conduct personal interviews through the Common Admission Process. The admission committee decides the number of applicants who would be called for personal interviews based on their applied category. In addition to IIM Jammu CAP 2024, a Supplementary Admission Process (SAP 2024) will also be conducted for applicants who met IIM Jammu PI shortlisting criteria but could not meet CAP 2024 cut off criteria.
