UCEED 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Released, Fee Payment Window Now Open

MUMBAI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has officially announced the results for the UCEED 2026 Round II seat allotment today, May 19, 2026. Candidates who participated in the Bachelor of Design (BDes) joint seat allocation process can now access their provisional allotment status on the official website.

According to the official brochure, selected candidates are being issued provisional allotment letters via their registered email addresses. To secure their allocated seats, candidates must complete the online payment of the Seat Acceptance Fee by May 27, 2026, before 6:00 PM . The seat acceptance fee is fixed at ₹60,000 for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL categories and ₹15,000 for SC/ST/PwD candidates . This fee will later be adjusted against the final institute fees at the time of joining. Failure to pay the fee within the stipulated deadline will result in the automatic cancellation of the allocated seat.

Freeze & Float after UCEED 2026 Seat Allotment

Candidates allotted their second, third, fourth, or fifth choice can choose to 'freeze' their choice if they are satisfied, which removes them from subsequent rounds. Alternatively, they can choose the 'float' option to accept the seat while remaining eligible for upward movement in higher-preference institutes during subsequent rounds. Those choosing 'float' do not need to pay the acceptance fee again in later rounds. Furthermore, candidates who wish to withdraw from the seat allocation process must do so by June 9, 2026, at 6:00 PM to claim a partial refund.

A total of five allotment rounds will be conducted, with Round III scheduled for announcement on June 10, 2026 . For inquiries or grievances regarding the allocation process, candidates can reach out to the UCEED-CEED Office at IIT Bombay.

UCEED Round 1 Seat Allotment 2026 on April 21: Check Instructions to Accept Seat

UCEED 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result Date: The IIT Bombay will release the UCEED 2026 round 1 seat allotment on April 21, 2026, tentatively after 4 PM. To check the round 1 seat allotment, the candidates should visit the official website- uceed.iitb.ac.in and enter their login credentials, such as the registered email ID and password. Candidates who will be allotted a seat via the UCEED 2026 round 1 allotment should accept the seat and pay the seat acceptance fees on or before April 29, 2026 (till 6 PM). Note that the UCEED seat acceptance fee is Rs 60000 (Rs 15000 for the SC/ST/PwD candidates). However, if the candidates are not satisfied with the allotment and want to upgrade their seats, then they should withdraw the seat between April 30 and May 11, 2026 (till 6 PM).

Dear Student,

The first-year fee for the 4-year Bachelor of Design (B.Des) course at the Indian School of Design and Innovation is INR 6,70,000 (INR 3,35,000 per semester). There will be a nominal increase of 5% in tuition fees every year. The semester-wise tuition fee is payable at the beginning of the semester as per the notified date. Students also have to pay one-time registration and admission fees of INR 50,000 and a security deposit of INR 25,000 at the time of enrollment. The application fee is INR 3500 which is non-refundable. There is no hostel facility at the Indian School of Design and Innovation, Mumbai. Dear student,

ISDI Mumbai fees is diffrent for all courses. At the PG level, the institute offers a BDes course. BDes first-year fees is Rs 6,37,400, and it is a four-year course, so the total fee of BDes is Rs 25,49,600. At the PG level, the ISDI Mumbai course list has a PG Diploma course. For the PG Diploma, the total fee is Rs 5,97,000. If you want to get admission to ISDI Mumbai, then you will need to submit your portfolio or complete a designer test given by the institute. After that, you need to appear in the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), which is conducted by the institute. Then, attend the Online Interview, and if you pass, you will get the admission letter.
