Jawaharlal Nehru Government Engineering College Mandi Admission Latest Update

The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 admit card is likely to be released between January 18 and 19, 2026. Registered candidates will be able to download the hall ticket from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, by logging in with their credentials. The exam city intimation slip is expected to be issued in the first week of January 2026.

The JEE Main 2026 exam date and allotted exam city are set to be released in the first week of January through the advanced city intimation slip on jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download the slip using their application number and password.

The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 correction window is now open at jeemain.nta.nic.in and will stay active until December 2, 2025. Candidates can modify most of their application details, except their mobile number, email ID, permanent/current address, emergency contact details, and uploaded photograph.

The candidates should have passed 12th standard with 45% marks from any recognized board. A relaxation of 5% is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College Application Process 2019

  • Before applying to the JNGEC, the interested applicants have to appear in JEE Mains or HPCET (Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test) exam. To apply, the candidates have to visit the official website of these exams and fill the application form with the required details.  The candidates have to pay the application fee to complete the application process.
  • The qualified candidates have to appear in the counselling process conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU). Please note that the counselling process is the same for the qualified candidates of JEE Main and HPCET but conducted separately on different dates or times.
  • The counselling process starts with the registration of candidates in which the qualified candidates have to fill the registration form available on the HPTU website. The candidates also have to fill the choices of college in the registration form. Along with that, the upload of necessary documents is also required before submission of the registration form.
  • Next, the document verification process will start in which the documents that were uploaded with the registration form will be verified.
  • Based on the choices filled, document verification and eligibility criteria, the seat allotment will be done and takes place in two rounds.
  • Please note the candidates who have written the JEE Main exam have to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 1,550 at the time of counselling process. The HPCET candidates are exempted from the counselling fee.
  • The shortlisted candidates have to further pay the requisite amount of Rs. 3,000 to confirm the admission in the engineering course.
