Jodhpur National University admits students to its various courses through its established selection criteria for each of the courses. A certain set of criteria need to be fulfilled for a candidate to get admission to the university. Below are the criteria candidates need to take note of while seeking admission:

Class 12 marks

Some of the Jodhpur National University courses require the candidates to have cleared the class 12 examination with a certain score that varies from course to course. Class 12 must be completed from a recognised board of education. This criterion alone will be sufficient to qualify for admission to many courses.

Graduation score

The postgraduate courses at the university require a minimum score in the graduation examination to be selected for the course. The scores vary across courses.

Entrance exams

Some courses at Jodhpur National University require the candidates to take entrance exams. The scores/ranks obtained in the entrance exams are evaluated before admission.  Candidates must satisfy this condition to be considered for admission to their desired courses.

• Admission to the B.Tech courses is done through JEE Main. 
• For B.Tech Lateral entry, the eligible candidates need to appear in the entrance test conducted by the university.
• Interested candidates who are willing to take admission in BA.LLB will have to appear in CLAT or LSAT.
• Admission to the M.Tech programmes is done through GATE.
• Those who are looking forward to seek admission to MBA and MCA will have to appear in CAT/MAT and RMCAAT respectively.
• For JNU Jodhpur LLM admission, the aspirants need to appear in CLAT.
• Admissions to the doctoral courses at JNU Jodhpur are done on the basis of marks/ranks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the university followed by a round of personal interview. However, the students who have a valid rank or marks in GATE/NET of UGC/CSIR and SLET will get preference.
