K J Somaiya School of Engineering Admission 2025 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

KJSCE admission to BTech courses in 2024  will begin with MHT CET counselling. The counselling process will be held from June to August 2024 (tentative) after the MHT CET result is out. Currently, the MHT CET 2024 exams for the PCM group are ongoing. The exam dates are May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, and 17. The result for KJSCE admission to BTech through MHT CET will be announced in the second week of June 2024 (expected).

KJ Somaiya College of Engineering admission process is done based on the admissions guidelines laid down by Somaiya Vidyavihar University. As per the guidelines, aspirants will be offered admission to the different engineering programmes on the basis of entrance test scores and other selection parameters. Candidates interested in taking admission to any of the B.Tech or M.Tech programmes offered by the college will be required to qualify for the KJSCE eligibility criteria and complete the application and selection processes.

KJSCE B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2024

• Applicants must have passed Class 12 with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with chemistry/ biotechnology/ biology/ technical vocational subjects and obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate from a recognised board.
• They must also take the JEE Main/ MHT CET/ PERA CET/ SAT/ CUET UG exam.

KJ Somaiya College of Engineering B.Tech Selection Process 2024

• The college conducts the KJSCE B.Tech selection process in different rounds and phases for different entrance exams. It also releases the KJSCE Mumbai merit list for B.Tech for final admission. This merit list is prepared based on an applicant’s merit, his/her course preference, and the availability of seats in that particular programme.

KJ Somaiya College of Engineering M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2024

• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of engineering and technology with at least 50% marks from a recognised university.
• They also must have a valid score in the GATE/ PERA CET/ CUET PG exam.

KJSCE M.Tech Selection Process 2024

• The KJSCE M.Tech selection process is done by the college in different rounds and phases for different entrance exams. The college provides final admission as per the KJSCE M.Tech merit list prepared based on a candidate’s merit, choice of course, and availability of seats.

Step 1: Eligible applicants must complete the online pre-admission form on the college website and pay the KJSCE application fees to submit the KJSCE application form. 

Step 2: Based on various entrance exams, the college conducts the KJSCE Mumbai selection process in various phases and rounds.

Step 3: The college offers a provisional seat based on factors such as an applicant’s merit, choice of course, and seat availability.

• Scorecard for at least one of the applicable entrance tests
• Mark sheet for Class 12 or equivalent examination (Self-attested copy)
• Mark sheet for Class 10 or equivalent examination (Self-attested copy)
• Mark sheet of UG degree examination or equivalent examination, if applicable (Self-attested copy)
• Leaving Certificate from the last attended institution (Self-attested copy)
• Caste Certificate, Caste Validity, if a candidate belongs to a reserved category under SC/ST/ OBC/ VJ-NT (Self-attested copy)
• Aadhaar card, two passport-size photographs of the candidate
• Maharashtra State Domicile Certificate, if applicable
• Indian Nationality Certificate (If not mentioned on the Leaving Certificate)
• Gap Certificate/ Affidavit 
• Equivalence Certificate / Migration Certificate of concern Board 
• Medical fitness certificate also indicating the blood group issued by a registered medical practitioner
