Prof.Animesh Bhattacharya:
Professor (Ms.) Anuradha Saha:
Overall: Securing admission to this prestigious college would undoubtedly be a rewarding achievement, promising a journey filled with exceptional learning opportunities and academic enrichment.
Placement: Here, the positioning is excellent. This college has close ties to numerous large, well-known businesses. Students at this college can also participate in internships to gain work experience.
Infrastructure: I have firsthand experience with this college's constant efforts to keep its facilities in top condition. For the convenience of the pupils, everything has been expertly planned and executed.
Faculty: This college's faculty members are incredibly friendly and modest. The teachers are highly enthusiastic and always available to answer any questions from the pupils. They are so helpful and encouraging.
Hostel: The staff is excellent, the hostels have clean rooms and bathrooms, and they are extremely well-maintained and organized, all of which contribute to the safe and secure atmosphere of the hostel.
Overall: NSEC offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering disciplines like Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc. The academic curriculum is designed to meet industry standards and often includes practical training, projects, and industry collaborations.
Placement: The college may have a robust placement cell that facilitates campus recruitment drives, internships, and industry interactions. Checking placement records, top recruiting companies, and alumni success stories can provide insights into the college's placement assistance.
Infrastructure: The college likely boasts modern infrastructure with well-equipped laboratories, libraries, computer facilities, classrooms, and workshops. This supports a conducive learning environment for students.
Faculty: NSEC probably has a dedicated faculty comprising experienced professors and industry experts. The quality of teaching can vary across departments, so student feedback and faculty profiles are essential factors to consider.
Hostel: The hostel typically offers both shared and single occupancy rooms equipped with basic amenities such as beds, study tables, chairs, cupboards, and attached bathrooms.
Overall: Netaji Subhash Engineering College - Kolkata LikesThe top recruiting companies are TCS, CTS, Wipro, Byju's, Amazon, Intel, Tech Mahindra, etc. (337 Reviews)Top roles offered are software engineer, software developer, web developer, and app developer. (210 Reviews)This college provides good placements for IT, CSE and ECE students, But if you are from any other stream, you can't expect any job. DislikesVery few students get internships from my course because the college does not provide any internships, and you have to try on your own. (
Placement: As electrical engineering is a core branch, more than 50 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered in my branch, as of my knowledge, was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies were EY, ITC INFOTECH, etc. The percentage of students who got internships from my course was more than 60 percent
Infrastructure: The facilities were decent, and the infrastructure of my department was above average. The labs were in good condition, and the equipment and machines available for the purpose of the laboratory were in working condition; I never faced failure. And there was no hostel available in my college, so we used to reside in PGs nearby the College.
Faculty: The teachers of our college were well-qualified teachers, and in fact, they are knowledgeable. Minor problems occur sometimes when a teacher starts teaching in Bangla language, but when uninterrupted because of not knowing that particular language, after that, they teach in English. In my opinion, the course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams varies, and the pass percentage is like a grade system; you have to keep your grades at least C to pass the exam.
Hostel: chose this course because I always wanted to pursue my engineering in a core branch. The best things about the course are laboratory classes. I think the course is relevant enough, and no improvement is needed so far. Events and fests occur annually post-semester. Overall, it was a decent college to study in. Overall: Overall it's really good. The infrastructure plus the faculty is very good. They know how to take care of there students and their studies. They have a good campus placement.
Placement: The placement cell is good. Not that good but still it's fine from other private colleges in Kolkata so you may go for it and ya so it's better and one of the oldest private colleges in Kolkata
Infrastructure: I would say that overall it is ok ok but still it's good. So ya maybe some might not like it's infrastructure because the area is too small and doesn't have much zones.
Faculty: The faculty is very good actually it's really good. The teachers and professors are very helpful. They will assist the students facing problems. So don't worry the faculty is very good
Hostel: The college doesn't not have it's own hostel but you will find many pg near the campus and the college. So it won't be a problem for students who will need a place to stay
