Overall: The insfrastructure is so bad and we can’t use the toilet it is so gross so times the smell is coming towards our class room and toilets are maintained very bad and in hostel food is very very bad and it is served in a very unhygienic way and these all ate the basic things that the management has to put pressure on and there is no support for physical activities not sports they’ll let us know 2 days before the sports day and very carelessly they conduct anything in this college

Placement: Our seniors are saying that there are no more than 3 to 4 companies came this year. I don’t know that what happens in three years but with this infrastructure and mentality of of the faculties and staff this all I don’t think so we can get placements on campus so I really recommend someone who want to join or intend to join college. Please don’t do some mechanical or electrical in prestige College rather than this.

Faculty: Some faculties are good but half of them are immature about the subject they’ll write it down in a sheet and then also they can’t provide us proper lecture we can’t get the picture what are they saying

Hostel: The maintenance is so bad that we lack some restrooms and the foood quality is bad and unhygienic and unhealthy not even a proper diet for students and hostel is also gross

Dear Student,

The admission process for Software Engineering course at Maharaja Institute of Technology is based on the marks obtained by the candidates in KCET/ COMED-K UGET.  Candidates aspiring for admission through KCET will have to pay the fee as specified the state government, and it may range up to Rs. 80,000 per annum. You can also get direct admission through Management Quota, and the fee structure for the same is approximately Rs. 1,00,000 per annum.

You can also fill the Common Application Form for admission related assistance.

KCET 2023 cutoff is not out yet. As per Maharaja Institute of Technology Mysore cut off 2022 for B.Tech computer science and engineering, you must get 26766 rank or above. However, the overall MIT cutoff for KCET was 26766 - 141568 rank. In 2023, there won't be much of a difference. You can get admission in mechanical engineering and civil engineering if your rank is 109735 in KCET 2023.
