Overall Located in the presidency area of Delhi in Chanakyapuri this college is one of the most considerable girls college of Delhi University .Overall it is very good college with great societies , interactive and helpful professors , active placement cell , decent infrastucture and popularly known for its pretty gardens and lawns and even the canteen offers food at very reasonable prices . But the hostel is quite costly .

Placement Coming to the placement cell of Maitreyi college , it is very genuinely active . It offers internship almost every day for all aspects of work ranging from marketing , business development , content writing to sales , manager , HR ,etc that too free of cost and majorly accompaning work from home for all batches and all course . Other than internship the job placements are also offered but this is especially for the 3rd year students with decent profiles and paying sclaes.

Infrastructure The building of the college is quite decent with large classrooms and multiple blocks . It is majorly the old science block and new science block wherein the latter one is more recent and includes better lighting , furniture and smartboards. It is equipped with all the labs especially ment for science students along huge playground keeping in mind the physical health of students. All this is accompanied with beautiful gardens and chill out places. Even the library is huge with good sitting capacity and the ventilation across corridors is absolutely amazing . talking about the canteen , it is quite spacious and big with sitting arrangement and music for the good mood food and the food is also reasonable . Other than canteen the mother dairy stall outside canteen is more preferrd by students especially during summers offering ice creams , cold beverages and things . The ampi theatre is at the center of the college holding all events , fest and celebrations , other than this the college also offers seminar room and conference room for all the meetings and discussions of societies and other things .

Faculty Almost all the teachers are knowledgeable and helpful all throughout . Also they are very understanding to the needs and problems of students and off-course teach with great potential and dedication. The punctuality of the teachers of English Deparment is comendable along with their effort to encourage students to engage in debates and discussion in class because that is what makes you learn . Even the tutorial classes are taken nicely by the professors of this department.

Hostel The hostel of the college was recently inaugrated and the admisson into it is fully based on merit . But the fee is slightly on a costlier end with hostel fees amounting to 1,80,000 annually awhich will include the charges of room electricity , water, food .
