For IIITs admission, a low JEE Main rank corresponds to 30,000 to 40,000. However, the good news is that several colleges, including NITs and IIITs, do accept JEE Main 2026 low ranks going beyond 2,00,000. Students with a low JEE Main rank can still get admission into NITs such as NIT Jalandhar, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Goa, IIIT Vadodara, IIIT Manipur, IIIT Kalyani, etc.

The list of colleges for 50-60 percentile in JEE Main 2026 includes Parul University, Chandigarh University, and Sanskriti University, among others. A score of 50-60 percentile in JEE Main 2026 is equivalent to 28.4+ to 34.1+ marks and a rank between 7,50,000 to 6,00,000. It is considered a very poor score in the entrance exam as it falls below the minimum cutoff for exam qualification. While the General, EWS, and OBC categories do not stand a chance of securing admission with a 50-60 percentile in JEE Mains 2026, the ST and SC categories have slim chances of obtaining admission into private and state universities with the same score.
