JEE Main 2024 Percentile Score

Percentile scores are a way of ranking the performance of students in an exam. The marks obtained are converted to a scale of 0 to 100, based on the performance of all the students who appeared for the exam. The percentile score indicates the percentage of candidates who scored equal to or below a particular percentile in the exam. For instance, if a student scores in the 90th percentile, it means that they scored better than 90% of the other students who took the exam. The topper of each session will get the highest percentile score of 100. The marks obtained by other students are also converted to appropriate percentiles. Percentile scores are used to prepare the merit lists and are considered a more accurate representation of a student's performance than raw marks.

Yes, you can change your course at LPU after admission. Students have approximately a month to make this change after admission, or they can opt to do so after a semester. However, changing your course after the first year is not advisable as it could result in a wasted year. The new course must meet the student's eligibility requirements. To request a course change, students must fill out a specific form and pay the required fee within the university's set schedule. LPU reserves the right to approve or deny the course change. If approved, the student must pay the new …
