UG Veterinary admission or BVSc admission at Veterinary College and Research Institute, Chennai is granted based on the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination or 10+2 level. The calculation is as follows:

The aggregate score is calculated out of 300, and candidates are ranked accordingly based on merit. However, this is not the only criterion for Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) Admission in India. Some institutes also accept the NEET UG scores.

(Bachelor of Veterinary Science) through AP EAPCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) in Veterinary College and Research Institute, Chennai: The application form for AP EAPCET releases in April. You can apply online through the official website of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education). The application fee is Rs 500 for General Category candidates and Rs 250 for SC/ST/PWD candidates. You need to have passed the 12th standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects. The AP EAPCET will be held in May. The results will be announced in June. The merit list for B.V.Sc. will be prepared based on the AP EAPCET scores. The selected candidates will have to appear for an interview. The final selection of candidates will be based on their AP EAPCET scores and interview performance.
