OAMDC Degree Seat Allotment 2025 for Second Phase Delayed

OAMDC Degree Seat Allotment 2025 for Second Phase Delayed; Uncertainty looms over allotment date

OAMDC Degree Seat Allotment 2025 for Second Phase: Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education has yet again delayed the process of Phase 2 counselling. The second phase seat allotment result, which was supposed to be released on October 10, has been delayed. There has been no further update from APSCHE over the delay, and there is no clear exact date for the announcement of seat allotment. A similar instance took place during the first phase of counselling, where the announcement of seat allotment was delayed by almost 7 days. This year, AP Degree Admissions witnessed confusion, clarity and clear timelines. The counselling dates were revised multiple times, deadlines were extended, and seat allotments were delayed, leaving students in uncertainty.

There is no official update on the exact revised date for the announcement of the AP OAMDC Degree Sat Allotment 2025 for the second phase . There is a possibility that the allotment might be released by or before October 12 or 13. Even if seat allotment is released on October 11, the reporting at colleges shall begin on October 13, as October 12 is a Sunday (which is a non-working day for colleges). Therefore, APSCHE might take a little more time to declare the seat allotment result.

Apart from administrative./ technical issues from APSCHE's end, there is another major reason for the delay in AP OAMDC seat allotments this year. Many students did not upload the documents properly while registering for the counselling, leaving APSCHE to reopen the window multiple times so that students could upload the documents properly.

While autonomous colleges started academic session in June-July, Government Degree Colleges and participating institutes of OAMDC counselling struggled to commence academic session till September. This delay has caused huge uproar among students and parents who felt that the process of Degree admissions in Andhra Pradesh must be streamlined at least from next year so that fresh aspirants would not face any issues.

Dear Student,

UG Veterinary admission or BVSc admission at Veterinary College and Research Institute, Chennai is granted based on the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination or 10+2 level. The calculation is as follows:

Subject

Marks

Biology

100 marks

Physics

100 marks

Chemistry

100 marks

Total

300 marks

The aggregate score is calculated out of 300, and candidates are ranked accordingly based on merit. However, this is not the only criterion for Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) Admission in India. Some institutes also accept the NEET UG scores.

Thank You
