NIT Puducherry B.Tech : Fees, Courses, Eligibility & Admission 2026

Overall: It is a good college with great infrastructure and good hostels too . Food is average and the faculty are okay . Overall you can expect it to be a good time in the college

Placement: There are placements happening in the college but as it is a newly opened college and 2nd tire college it takes time to get a good amount of packages but for now it is an average of 9lpa

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great . The library is a huge building with all the facilities even an auditorium too. There is a pentagon being constructed for college . And 2 different types of hostels too.

Hostel: The hostel facilities are great with a chair , cot , table, and a cupboard provided for each person. The mess is attached to the hostel . There will be a max of 3 persons per room . And the rooms will be neat

Overall: NIT Puducherry is the campus established in 2010 under the ministry of education,Govt of India. The nit puducherry is one among the 31 nits. The campus is spread around 280 acres lush green campus. with all most all facilities available and with the experienced staff and faculty. Although a new campus a fast growing NIT among all.

Placement: The placements at NIT puducherry are quite decent and the highest on campus package is 44 lpa in the recent past. Despite the covid pandemic and recession the campus is performing well at the placements and every year the placement percentage will be around 95%. The average package of the cse department will be around 7 lpa. Every year workshops will be conducted and placements training will be provided by the faculty.

Infrastructure: The campus is situated in the beach of bay of Bengal in the city of karaikal which is 140km from the pondicherry city. The new campus was inaugurated in 2016. With well equipped labs, digital classrooms, workshops and well maintained green bushes around the campus. A new building called pentagon is coming up to accommodate as many as students into engineering stream.

Faculty: The NIT puducherry staff are well trained as well as experienced in the respective fields of education. The professors are friendly and interactive with students even the seniors are friendly and help us academically. Although the question papers are bit tougher but the professors will help us. And we have 2 mid exams and 1 semester exam for every semester.

Hostel: In NIT puducherry we have total 3 hostels of which one is for girls called as Bhavani hostel and remaining two hostels are to accommodate boys namely Moyar and Bharani hostel.girls and boys has separate mess which will provide quality,tasty and hygienic food. The caterers will be changed for every two years. The hostel fees will be 30000 per semester which is low compared to other colleges.

Overall: As not famous as other nits all over the India, Nit puducherry is as better as any other nit. It is constructed in 2013's.surrounded by beaches and nature it is beautiful. It occupies 256 acres of land. A perfect platform for a topper students and also slow learners who can pursue their dream careers in any field. Sports music or even research.

Placement: MNC'S have been keep on coming to the campus amid newly constructed campus. A highest package of 42LPA is registered by CSE candidate.an average of 23-25 LPA by Cse Candidates. other departments also gets an average of 15-20 LPA. Google and Amazon are expected to come to 2025 and 2026. High rise is also predicted in coming years. Almost 70% of a batch gets offers and placements.

Infrastructure: As for 2024 our campus have a central Library as big as the one in iit madras. Science block for academic classes. Two boys hostels and a girls hostel. Two dining halls and one canteen. A huge construction of administration building which is been called pentagon is been in construction and will be completed by 2 months. Along side two more boys hostels,a huge sports Complex, construction complex, is been under construction and will be completed by 2025.

Faculty: Faculty of nitpy has a vast experience in their respective fields. All of the professors are doctorate holders and their teaching is absolutely best. Never expected about this in college but it's truly good. Faculty supports in student skill development and internships. Blessed to have faculty like that.

Hostel: Bharani is for boys from 2nd years. Moyar is for 1st year b.tech students and phd scholars. Bhavani hostel is for girls. Moyar hostel provides ac rooms for whole year. All the hostels have high-speed internet wifi and 24 hrs geyser availability. It is completely 100% anti-ragging hostels. Good rooms and positive ambience around the people and buildings. Hostel timings are convenient and safe.
