NMIET Pune or Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering & Technology was established in 2008. This institute is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. NMIET Pune is approved by AICTE. The college is accredited by NBA and NAAC with a ‘B+’ Grade. This private institute is also ISO-certified. Located in Pune, NMIET Pune courses are BVoc and BE. The college offers admission to eligible students on the basis of their scores in the entrance examinations like MHT CET/JEE Main for BE. For BVoc admission is based on merit.

The college has a central placement cell which conducts the campus placements every year. NMIET Pune placements in 2023 recorded the highest package of Rs 61 LPA. During 2022 NMIET Pune placements, the average package was Rs 4.89 LPA while the total offers made was 499 and 283 were single offers.
