NMIMS Mumbai BBA+LLB : Fees, Courses, Eligibility & Admission 2024

Overall: I chose this course because I am interested in corporate law, and NMIMS is well-known for its management courses and exposure to large corporations and law firms. In terms of expenses, NMIMS is a bit expensive as compared to other institutes, but it also provides excellent learning facilities and placement opportunities to its students. We have various amazing events like International Moot Court competition, MUN's, debates, seminar and conference and cultural fests.

Placement: Nearly 95% of the students got placed last year. The highest package approximately stood around Rs 15 lakh per annum. NMIMS Mumbai BBA LLB course top recruiters were Economic Law Practices, Khaitan & Co. , Wadia Handy, Legasis Legal, Samvad Partners, Hariani & Co and mid sized firms. NMIMS provides industry exposure to students with various guest lectures taken by partners of law firms, advocates and professors of foreign law universities.

Infrastructure: We have wifi, a library, auditorium, a class room, and an online portal with all legal databases such as Manupatra, SCC online, Westlaw, LexisNexis, and others. The canteen offers a variety of recipes and food, maintaining hygiene.

Faculty: Teachers are truly great because they plan an agenda for the entire class period. The quality of instruction is above average, and lectures are highly participatory. By the end of our final year, we completed 65 to 70 subjects. NMIMS also provides lectures and advice from industry professionals from a variety of sectors.

Hostel: NMIMS Mumbai offers hostel to its students on sharing basis.  Those who weren't able to get a hostel room can move into one of the four rental house flats the institution has available. Students should visit campus and contact with the right person if they want further information about the hostel accommodation.

Overall: Kriti P. Mehta School of Law at NMIMS Mumbai offers various UG and PG law programmes. I completed my BBA LLB course from there in 2019. BBA LLB at NMIMS Mumbai is a five-year integrated programme. The university conducts NMIMS CLAT for UG law admissions. It also accepts national-level law entrance tests such as CLAT and LSAT.

Placement: After completing BBA LLB from NMIMS Mumbai, you can join any law firm or corporate agency. I am currently working at a top law firm. I was placed at this firm during our final placement process. In our year, the highest package received was around Rs 10 lakh per annum. Many students also went to abroad to study LLM. The school also provides internships at law firms such as AK & Associates, Chambers of Mr. Salman Khurshid, DAS & Associates, D H Law Associates, etc.

Infrastructure: The classrooms at NMIMS Mumbai are fully air-conditioned and equipped with LCD projectos and other smart tools. Students can access the wi-fi facility 24*7 across the campus. There is a well-stocked library at Kriti P. Mehta School of Law. The library has access to several national and international law database. The moot court is the special attraction of our school. We used to practice for hours at the moot court.

Faculty: Faculty at Kriti P. Mehta School of Law are highly experienced in their fields. They provide us with various insights to enhance our legal skills. We also have a number of visiting faculty. There are also regular interaction with law firms, judiciary, senior lawyers from legal industry, and other prominent personalities to make us aware of the professional world.

Hostel: Students at NMIMS Mumbai can avail themselves of residential accommodation. There is Anand Premises Boys Hostel and other private residential accommodation facilities. Students need to pay the hostel fee as per their room of choice. The hostel room rent can be around Rs 4,00,000 per year.
