NMIMS Mumbai B.Tech in Data Science - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2024

Overall: NMIMS is one of the best engineering colleges in India to pursue B.Tech programmes. I am currently pursuing B.Tech in Data Sciences from NMIMS. The B.Tech programme is a good blend of applied statistics, data management, programming, etc. The institute has a state-of-the-art infrastructure. All the faculties and staff are very coordinating and helpful. Nearly all my seniors got placed in top organisations. In terms of opportunities, environment, facility, education quality, placements, exposure everything is good at NMIMS.

Placement: The placements at our college are good. Nearly everyone among our seniors were placed, and with excellent pay. The hiring procedure in this place is excellent since they have trained teachers who review candidates for mentoring purposes. They are placed in very good organizations. The recruiters visiting our campus were SAS, General Mills, Sharekhan, Crisil, FedEx, and Express India.

Infrastructure: The B.Tech department at the NMIMS Mumbai campus is well-equipped in terms of infrastructure. The college offers state-of-the-art laboratories like NMIMS-BOSCH- Rexroth Centre of Excellence in Industrial Automation and a huge library automated with KOHA software. Apart from this, it has a cafeteria, wifi, AC classrooms, and computer labs with high-speed internet access for students.

Faculty: The faculty at NMIMS Mumbai has a lot of engineering industry experience. You can always get help from mentors and staff. The seniors are a great resource for the institute as well. Anytime you want, you can get in touch with them if you have any questions or issues. The faculty makes sure that every student is prepared for a successful engineering career.

Hostel: The institute provides accommodation for its students. Good food is offered in the hostel cafeteria at NMIMS. The canteen always has a variety of refreshments. The canteen prepares food for students while maintaining cleanliness.

Overall: I completed B.Tech Data Science from NMIMS Mumbai in 2021. Due to help from the placement cell of the college, I got placed in a reputed company. The four-year NMIMS Mumbai B.Tech course is one of the best options for students who want to make a career in data and analytics discipline. The experienced faculty at the college will make sure you are ready to face the industrial challenges.

Placement: Every year reputed companies participate in NMIMS Mumbai placements to hire students. We were offered training to improve our communication skills, interpersonal skills, corporate skills etc. This helped me to get a job during the placement drive. Further, NMIMS Mumbai placement cell also provides summer internship to students after every semester (mainly after completion of 1 year of programme).

Infrastructure: The modern facilities and infrastructure of NMIMS Mumbai is one of the attractions of the college. For conducting academic and non-academic events, the college has a fully air conditioned spacious auditorium. Further, canteen, smart classrooms, laboratories, computer labs etc. are also present at the campus.

Faculty: The engineering faculty of NMIMS Mumbai is very cooperative and friendly. They treat every student fairly and ensure students do not face any difficulty inside the campus.

Hostel: NMIMS Mumbai campus has individual boys and girls hotels. For the convenience of students, the hostels have spacious rooms, a mess that serves delicious food, indoor games facilities etc.
