NRI Institute of Technology admission to its courses is done either through a national-level entrance exam. Some of the entrance exams accepted by the university for admission include TS EAMCET for BTech, TS PGECET and GATE for MTech, and TS ICET for MBA and MCA. Students who have a valid score in any of these entrance exams are eligible for the respective counselling process. Through the counselling process, candidates will be allocated seats on the basis of their scores in the entrance tests. The seats for NRIIT admission are divided into 2 categories: category A and category B. For category A, 70% of the seats for both UG and PG programmes are filled based on the common entrance test conducted by the government of Telangana. Meanwhile, 30% of the seats under category B are filled under the management / NRI category as per the norms/regulations prescribed by the TS Technical Education Department.

How to Fill out the NRI Institute of Technology Application Form?

• Application forms can be downloaded from www.nriit.edu.in or obtained from the college office between 10.00 am and 3.00 pm on all working days. 
• Candidates need to submit the filled-in application form along with the required enclosures in the college office in person along with the registration fee.
• NRIIT application fee is Rs. 2500 for JEE Main and TS EAMCET qualified candidates and Rs 3500 for others. The fee can be paid in cash or by DD in favor of the college.
• Provisional Merit List, before verification of the original certificates and personal interview, will be displayed on the college notice board and website. 
• After this, the final merit list will be displayed.

NRI Institute of Technology scholarship is offered to the students by the government of Telangana. These scholarships are offered on the basis of student’s performance in the state level entrance tests along with their monthly income quota. Students from Telangana with a state government income certificate showing an annual family income of less than one lakh rupees, who have qualified in the TS EAMCET/ ICET/ PGECET exam and secured admission through counseling, are eligible for the NRIIT scholarship's fee reimbursement program. 

Students from Andhra Pradesh who qualify in the TS EAMCET exam, secure admission through Telangana state counseling, and meet all the aforementioned income and document requirements from their home state are also eligible for the NRI Institute of Technology scholarship program.
