IIT Bhubaneswar Placements 2024-25 - Highest and Average Package, Top Recruiters

Every year, more than a hundred students get successfully placed in top corporate firms invited by the institution. The IIT Bhubaneswar placements can be well-tracked by the candidates through the official website of the institution. Different companies are invited for conducting placements in the institution. Some of the top companies that visit the campus for placement drives are TATA Motors, Microsoft, Capgemini, Amazon, Adobe, Indian Oil, Wipro, TATA Consultancy Services and many more.

The proper functioning and management of the placements being conducted in the institution for the final semester students are looked after by the IIT Bhubaneswar Placement Cell. The placement cell plans and executes the placements every year for the students. The cell is divided into groups of faculty members and students to look after the placement event. The placement faculty coordinators help students to prepare well for the interview and written rounds conducted for the selection of the students. The placement cell of IIT Bhubaneswar encourages students to participate in the placement rounds with confidence, knowledge and other required skills.

• The undergraduate placement percentage is over 94% as on data. A total of 293 Students from B.Tech received offers.
• The highest domestic CTC of 44.10 Lakhs per annum, offered to 6 students.
• 55% of IIT Bhubaneswar undergraduates received top placements in the first 3 days of the placements (85% of them are of CSE, B.Tech). This is the first time when such a large number of undergraduates got offers in just 3 days of the opening season.
• M.Tech placement percentage is over 88% as on data.
• The average salary is 18.95 Lakh per Annum for B.Tech and 10.34 Lakh Per Annum for M.Tech.
• PSUs like Oil India Limited, BEL, IOCL, GAIL, Tatagarh Wagon Ltd & C-DAC have participated in the campus placements.
• MNC companies like Google, Amazon, Byjus, Gojek, Unacademy, Mathworks, Goldman Sachs, GE India, Flipkart, Adobe, Toppr Vedanta, Qualcomm, TCS R & D, Samsung, FlyFin, Paytm, D.E.Shaw, L&T, LTI and Tata Steel have participated in this year of placements.
• 3rd-year students have received internship offers in reputed industries. The majority of CS and circuital branches engaged in Internships has the possibility of a full-time offer.
