CIPET has been offering a 5-year Integrated M.Sc. (B.Sc. + M.Sc.) in Material Science and Engineering since 2010 and a 2-year M.Sc. in Polymer Science since 2013. The 5-year Integrated M.Sc. (B.Sc. + M.Sc.) in Polymer Science and MS by Research in Polymer Science and Engineering is introduced in the current academic year 2020-21. The above courses are also associated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela. For personnel working in testing and research laboratories, the center offers specialised training programmes such as Laboratory Quality Management System & Internal Audit as per ISO/IEC-17025-2017, Uncertainty in Measurements. The center also offers training in the CAD/CAM fields, including CAD with CATIA, Creo (formerly Pro-E), Unigraphics, and CAM with Master CAM. Various Placement Linked Skill Development training programmes are being conducted with the support of the Central Government, State Governments, and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) such as NSFDC, NSKFDC, NBCFDC, DDU-GHY, OSFDC, PPT, ECL, and others. Each year, approximately 3000 students are trained in both long-term academic programmes and short-term courses.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an online national-level examination for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (CIPETs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other institutes/universities across India for Master of Engineering (M.E.), Masters in Technology (MTech), and direct PhD programs. In February 2022, GATE will release a provisional answer key and the window to challenge the provisional answer key was open from February 22 to February 25. The exam authority will release the GATE 2022 final answer key.

Placement: Every one get placement from your own choice with thair study qualification wise. No worries and tention about this field for getting placement. Placement not offer more higher package but getting sufficient payout every student which LPA is 3.5-7, it's depends on company and future trends. Mind it any plastic engineer not jobless for plastics are every day used. So gain your knowledge from starting a fresher to experienced then your earnings also give up high to higher.
Infrastructure: Here have all the facility which is required to study and make experience in laboratory. Also have All general facilities for both students girls and boys separately. Have many conference hall for any type conference and metting. Have medium area play ground for sports and annual function. Also known that here have processing and testing unit which industrial based , so you can learn from your own practice. It's not only plastic processing and testing also here have manufacturing unit which based on B. Tech in in manufacturing technology.
Hostel: Hostel infrastructure is very good and comfortable with separate area building for boys and girls. Also have full filled private security with CC camera. So no worries about any any unhappy personality or behavior due it's fully ragging free and friendly zone based floor with high strict rules regulations. One thing I feel bad which is canteen foods quality but not issue to eat. Just test is different from regular foods.
Overall: I like this placement to learn skills and technology. this campus is very big and beautiful. This college has two building and total nine floor in this college campus.
