The primary mode of admission is the CUET PG (Common University Entrance Test-PG) entrance exam. However, you can use your TANCET exam scores to gain admission into private colleges affiliated with Pondicherry University. Pondicherry University does not offer admission through a management quota or any alternative route if your CUET score is poor. Admission to most undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including popular programs like MBA, MCA, MTech, and others, is strictly based on CUET (UG or PG) scores, followed by the university’s counselling and merit list process. There is no mention of a management quota or donation-based seats in the official admission process or eligibility criteria. 

Dear Student, For PG admission at the Department of Management Studies, Pondicherry University, candidates need to obtain a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% of marks. For some programs, there may be additional eligibility requirements, such as work experience or GMAT scores. Admission to the PG programs in the Department of Management Studies is based on the CUET PG entrance exam. Candidates must first apply for the CUET PG exam and appear for it. If they score a qualifying mark in the exam, they can then register on the Pondicherry University website for further admission process.

Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D. Biochemistry

Master’s degree in Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Life Sciences/Zoology/Botany or in any other related areas with a minimum of 55% of marks.

The eligibility criteria required for PhD in Commerce at the Department of Management Studies, Pondicherry University is to have completed a master degree in commerce or accountancy as in M.Com, MBA with more than 55% aggregate marks. In addition, the candidates also need to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university followed by a Personal Interview.
