The detailed and latest eligibility criteria to apply for MCA admission in the state of Tamil Nadu through the TANCET exam are as follows - 

• Applicants with a B.Sc (CS/IT) or BCA degree from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks can apply OR

• Any bachelor’s degree holder (3-year minimum) who have studied mathematics at the +2 level or graduation level with an overall aggregate score of 50% can apply

• Reserved category applicants with either of the following qualifications can apply with an aggregate score of 45%

Candidates with a qualifying degree in any of the following patterns can apply for MCA admission in Tamil Nadu through TANCET - 

1. 10 + 2 + 3 / 4 / 5 years Pattern 

2. 10 + 3 years Diploma + 3 years Pattern 

3. (i) 10 + 2 + AMIE (or) 10 + 3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE

Candidates must log in with their registration details and enter their college choices in an order of decreasing preference as and when the choice filling process for TN MCA admission begins. There is no maximum limit to the number of choices that the candidates can provide.
