RV College of Architecture (abbreviated RVCA) was established in the year 1992. It is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, Karnataka, India. 

RV College of Architecture provides B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) and M.Arch (Master of Architecture) programmes at UG and PG level respectively.

RVCA has well-experienced and highly qualified teaching staff. Top  Architects are enrolled with the college as visiting and adjunct faculty. 

RV College of Architecture is spread over 2.4 acres with all the modern facilities including academic block, administrative block, sports, library, laboratory and canteen. It also provides separate hostel facilities to all boys and girls.

RV College of Architecture B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) Admission 2018:

RVCA provides admission to Bachelor of Architecture course through NATA/JEE Paper 2 Entrance Exam score followed by counseling. The eligibility criteria for taking admission in  B.Arch program through CET counseling. The applicants who are applying by COMED-K should have mathematics as a mandatory subject in 12th or 10+3 diploma from Central/State Govt. with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. The applicants, who are applying under management quota should have scored at least 70% marks in Mathematics and Science in 10th Class, 65% in Mathematics and Physics in 11th and 10+2 with 65% marks in Physics and Mathematics subjects.

    Key Points:

• The applicant must be a resident of Karnataka.
• The minimum age limit is 17 years.
• The candidates applying through COMED-K must score at least 80 marks in NATA Entrance Exam.
• OBC/SC/ST candidates get a relaxation of 5% marks in the aggregate score.
• The candidates, who are applying through Management Quota must pass NATA/JEE Paper -2 Entrance Exam.

RV College of Architecture M.Arch (Master of Architecture) Admission 2018:

Admission to M.Arch course would be through Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET), conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority. GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering) qualified candidates can directly apply for admission. The minimum eligibility criteria for taking admission in Master of Architecture (M.Arch) course is B.Arch degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

• Foreign applicants must obtain an equivalence degree from AIU (Association of Indian Universities) and also qualify in PGCET.
• OBC/SC/ST category candidates get a relaxation of 5% marks in the aggregate score.

• Students have won two prizes at the design competition conducted by Bengaluru International Airport Ltd during February-2010.
• Students have won 5 prizes at the IID-BMRCL Design Ideas competition, during March 2011. Best Design Award by Birla White, 2008.

The College has a two year MoU with the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Architecture, Wood and Civil Engineerng, Burgdorf Switzerland from 2011-13. It offers an opportunity to exchange two students every year. Marks and assessments will be given by the partner school and there will be a mutual acceptance. One of the master’s students from the Bern University had joined the M Arch Urban Design Semester II in February 2012.
