The CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) is a private engineering college located in Bangalore, India. CMRIT is a technical and management institution affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University. CMRIT was founded in 2000 by CMR Jnanadhara Trust. It offers courses like B.E. in 7 areas, M.Tech. in 3 areas, MCA and MBA. CMRIT has a mission Strive to create value in its offerings by including depth and intensity in its management education standards. Established in 2000, the CMR Institute of Technology imparts quality, pragmatic education in engineering and management to help students hone their analytical abilities and develop their creative thinking skills. The CMR Institute of Technology I.T. basically deals with courses in the field of Science and Engineering, IT and Management. The college is affiliated to VTU, and has been approved by the AICTE. The college also provides scholarship schemes for the meritorious students. CMRIT has been recognized by the Government of Karnataka. The institute was established with the vision "to be recognized as a premier institute in the state of technical education that will foster centres of excellence in training, research and consultancy". The college operates its academics functions with a mission "to create value in its offerings by including depth and intensity in its management education standards, provide excellent infrastructural facilities to aid delivery of coursework and create an environment conducive to learning and harmony".
