Candidates can secure admission to the MCA course through entrance exams such as BIT MCA Entrance exam, NIMCET, MAKAUT CET, TANCET etc. However, some state-level colleges provide direct admission into MCA courses. Candidates can opt for MCA admission either in regular mode or via distance mode. Candidates seeking admission into MCA courses directly without the entrance exam requirement can directly visit any of the private MCA colleges or visit the official website of the respective college to register for admission. The selection of the candidates for MCA admission in such cases will be based on/ her merit in the Bachelor’s degree. In case the competition for direct MCA admission is high in various colleges, a merit list will be prepared and seats will be allocated accordingly. However, most of the direct admissions in private MCA colleges are considered as management quota.
