The faculty is highly experienced and supportive, helping us at every step—from learning concepts to hands-on projects. The curriculum balances theory with real-world applications through studio work, material exploration, and design thinking.

Placement As a student of the B.Des program, I understand that placements in creative fields depend heavily on individual portfolios and practical exposure. Since the design program at Shoolini University started recently (2022), full-scale placements are still evolving. However, the placement cell is active and supportive, especially in helping students with internships, freelancing, and industry connections. We are guided to build strong portfolios, present our work professionally, and participate in hands-on projects. Seniors are starting to explore core design jobs and startups. By the time we graduate, placement opportunities are expected to be much stronger and more industry-connected.

Infrastructure Shoolini University’s infrastructure is a perfect mix of nature and innovation. The Tagore School of Design is a peaceful wooden structure surrounded by pine trees, providing the ideal atmosphere for creativity. Classrooms are modern, Wi-Fi enabled, and equipped with projectors. There are dedicated studios, labs, model-making zones, and a resourceful library for design and academic work. The campus is solar-powered and green, filled with creative corners and seating zones. Sports facilities include a cricket ground, basketball court, and open gym. Hostels are secure, clean, and well-managed with hygienic mess food. Overall, the infrastructure supports learning, health, and creativity at every step.

Faculty The faculty at Shoolini University is one of its strongest assets. In the School of Design, professors like Dr. Amit Ray, Mohan Sir, Shashank Thapa Sir, and guest faculty including Preeti Yadav Ma’am, Harsh Sir, and Amogh Sir are very experienced, creative, and approachable. Each one brings a unique teaching style—from concept explanation to guiding projects and digital skills. They help us explore ideas, improve design thinking, and build strong portfolios. The classroom environment is interactive, full of real-world examples, and hands-on activities. Faculty support extends beyond academics, helping students grow with confidence and clarity.

Hostel The hostel facilities at Shoolini University are well-managed and provide a comfortable living experience. Rooms are clean, secure, and available in multiple occupancy types. There is 24/7 security, Wi-Fi access, regular housekeeping, and a responsive warden system. The mess food is hygienic, and the menu offers a decent variety, although some students occasionally prefer eating outside. The campus is peaceful and scenic, adding to a relaxed residential environment. There are set timings for hostel entry/exit, with proper gate pass procedures for safety. Overall, the hostels offer a good balance of comfort, discipline, and independence.

Overall Shoolini University Solan is Very good and campus is very good and environment is very good and excellent college and All the teachers here are very much supportive, interactive and are highly qualified. They always support us not only in our study but also mentally. Medical facilities, pharmacy, ambulance are also available in campus.

Placement The placement available every year depends on students marks stability and skills 50% of students will placed and 50% will starts their start-up and their own business

Faculty Teachers in our college are well-qualified. They have sufficient experience. The college provides the best faculty members for all the courses. Teachers are understanding and very helpful, especially lady teachers

Hostel The hostel staff is attentive and responsive, promptly addressing concerns or issues. The university also takes measures to ensure the safety and security of its students, implementing strict rules and regulations within the hostels.
