Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (SLBSRSV), located in New Delhi offers both UG and PG level courses. Admission to the UG courses will be based on the CUET 2022 entrance exam scores. The National Testing Agency (NTA) used to look over all the admission-related activities of the CUET UG 2022 exam. But now, every university will conduct its own admission process based on merit lists curated by candidates' CUET 2022 exam scores.
Candidates willing to take admission to any of the UG courses at SLBSRSV have to sit for the CUET exam. After the completion of the exam, The university will release the SLBSRSV CUET UG cutoff 2022 scores. The candidates who make it to the cutoff list will then proceed to the counselling session. The CUET 2022 exam started on July 15, 2022 (Phase-1), and on August 30, 2022, Phase 6 of the exam was conducted, concluding the examination process. The CUET UG 2022 result is released on September 16, 2022.
Around four seat allotment rounds will take place to complete CUET 2022 admission process, which might extend to five or six and even some special rounds. However, the first-year classes will start on November 1, 2022, even if all the rounds for seat allocation are not completed. October 3, 2022, is the last date for registration. The admission calendar will be arranged after the conclusion of the registration process.
Previously, the Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha admissions were based on the overall academic merit of the candidate including the scores they obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the college. This was followed by a personal interview session, based on which the final SLBSRSV admission was done. Now for admission to any UG course at SLBSRSV candidates have to take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2022). This was introduced as a common platform for admission to all UG courses in any Central University under the Ministry of Education, (MoE). Majorly for the benefit of the candidates applying from rural and remote areas, as they got better reach and connection to be a part of the various Central Universities.
