The institute offers admission to Polytechnic at the diploma level, BTech at the UG level, and MTech at the PG level. Admission to courses at SVIET is done through entrance exams. For BTech admission, AP EAPCET is accepted. For diploma admission, AP POLYCET, and for MTech admission, AP PGECET/ GATE is accepted. AP EAPCET result for the engineering stream was out on June 11, 2024.

The examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, in two sessions.
August 25, 2025The GATE 2026 registration has been postponed to August 28, 2025. Regular applications close on September 28, with late submissions accepted until October 9. Exams will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, and results on March 19.
August 06, 2025The GATE 2026 schedule is now available on gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Registration for GATE 2026 will begin on August 25 and will close on September 25 without a late fee, and on October 6 with a late fee. The exam is scheduled for February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The results will be announced on March 19, 2026.
July 28, 2025AP EAMCET 2025 Final Phase counselling registration is open until July 30 at eapcet-sche.aptonline.in. Document verification will be held from July 28 to 30, and choice filling from July 28 to 31. Final seat allotment will be announced on August 4.
