The Tbilisi State University was established in 1918 and was the first national university in the Caucasus. The Tbilisi State University was named after its founder- Ivane Javakhishvili. Today Tbilisi State University has about 22000 students, undergoing in seven different faculties of TSU. The TSU was the first scientific-research institutions in Georgia which implement 200 local and international scientific programs annually. The Tbilisi State University offers the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs. And also provide short and long-term certification programs along with higher vocational education. TSU offers a wide variety of degree programs at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels and short courses offered in English language attracting students from all over the world.
