TCET Mumbai PhD Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) degree at Thakur College of Engineering & Technology require candidates to possess a Master's degree in a relevant field of study from a recognized university. Additionally, applicants must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA in their Master's degree. Candidates from reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC, are granted a relaxation of 5% in the minimum required marks. Furthermore, aspiring Ph.D. students are required to clear the entrance examination conducted by the college and successfully pass the subsequent interview round. Only those candidates who demonstrate strong research potential and a genuine passion for their chosen area of study are selected for the Ph.D. program.
