TCET Mumbai Reviews & Rating - Student, Faculty, Hostel, Placements, Campus

Overall TCET is located at Kandivali in Thakur village. It is very expensive college which charges about 170000 per year. It is not at all value for money as their teaching is not upto the mark and not industry friendly. Students have to learn everything on their own.

Infrastructure The college has auditoriums, library, reading room, common room, resource centre, canteen. The seating space is very less as per year their are around 1000 students persuing B.Tech. Students have to sit on staircase for lunch as canteen gets full most of the time. The food of canteen and at stalls is good and affordable. Their is a short garden in the campus. The library has good amount of books. Their are very much hidden charges students have to pay in the college fees and unnecessarily. Their is Ncc office in the college for Ncc cadets, Ano and Commander. The principal officer, chairman office, meeting room, ceo office, chairman office is huge.

Overall A quite normal university for an average student. Academics might be stressful but you get well balanced if you become socially active. But if you are considering, don't expect a luxury service!

Placement They put more emphasis in jobs stats which is a heavy demand for majors like business, engineering and so on and so forth. The other ones might need more independent applications/networking from you.

Infrastructure Libraries and studying areas are not bad but the housing is very unreliable. Even though several dorms may look outdated and parking is a struggle unless you live far off-campus.

Hostel You should expect tiny rooms with the basic facilities unless super rich and are remodeling the flat. Dining hall menu rapidly becomes monotonous. The environment of the hostel is too good.

Overall This college is all about maximizing the college experience. By offering a diverse range of activities and fostering a culture of open communication with professors, they're ensuring no student feels isolated or lost.

Placement The university has a strong placement record (around 80-85%), but the jobs are primarily with mass recruiters or startups and offer moderate salaries between 15,000 and 20,000 rupees. Internship opportunities are available in the summers of the first and second years.

Infrastructure My college offers a well-rounded experience. Classrooms are well-maintained and stocked with supplies, there's plenty of parking for everyone, and the college prioritizes eco-friendly practices. To top it off, you can unwind with various indoor games available.

Hostel Though the hostel does a daily clean from 11am to 2pm, the owners are understanding and will allow access if you ask. It's the perfect window to explore with your newfound hostel crew! Hostel life has been a significant growth experience for me.

Overall This summer of our collage department of every student life a enjoyable of this collage and this location of college a very beautiful and grounded its well system of college.

Overall When I visited the College before applying, I was very very impressed by its infrastructure and the feel of a university. It is also near to many food malls and good places. So decided to apply to this college since it was also near to my house. My first year was online during the COVID period. It started in offline mode at the end of the second year. It is great overall. It has various clubs to join and work in student forums. But the population of this college has increased drastically in last 2 years. During the break, we can't even find a place to sit, we have to sit on stairs to eat our tiffins since the Canteen is always packed. This is something they could improve on. Baki, overall, the faculty is okayish, depends on your branch. Overall 3/5.

Placement The placements start from 3 LPA, which is very low and most of the companies come for marketing placements, which is not related to any engineering background.

Infrastructure I love its infrastructure to be honest. It has an auditorium, recreation rooms, labs etc. The infrastructure is quite spacious and big. I was really impressed by it.

Faculty The faculty of Electronics branch is not that good, some of them just read the slides and have no practical knowledge. When doubts are asked, they just avoid answering them. But I think faculties from CS, IT, AIML, AIDS are quite good.

Hostel I didn't stay in their hostel, so I don't have much idea about them. Student coming from farway usually prefer to rent flats instead of the hostel as far as I know.

Overall my experience was very good I learned a lot of things in college, to tackle all the difficulties and I had good friends in this college they all were supportive and my expectations in various aspects, making it a truly transformative journey

Infrastructure the campus is equipped with state of the art facilities, including modern classroom,well-equipped laboratories,and an extensive library with a vast collection of resources.the emphasis on technology intergration enhances the overall learning experience,preparing students for the challenges of the digital age.

Hostel I was not in the hostel but there are some of my friends who say there, the is good but expensive also there is no food are provided also u have gym with monthly subscription of 500 rupees

Infrastructure the campus area is good and the college environment is chill and cool maintained hygiene and proper discipline on the campus also the computer labs are maintained properly with proper internet connections and in every lab there is a lab assistant

Placement Placement in this college and all departments. I am placement in civil engineering in this college and placement is very important. Placement is best.

Faculty In this college has faculty members are so good and faculty members are supporting all students studys and exams. Faculty members so time managements so goood.

Hostel Hostel in this college and hostel has everything clean in everyday. Hostel is good. Hostel fees better. So, come in college and see. I like it hostel.

Overall The college infrastructure is quite good. Including the computer labs .. and canteen facility. The placement are decent compared to other colleges in the universe . But the placement team needs to bring better offerd

Placement The placement process at Thakur is quite open it depends on how much you know and your skills so in my batch of 180 around 65 students got placed on the college

Infrastructure The interest structure of Thakur College is better compared to other colleges it has got good labs both technical and non technical aspects can easily be achieved

Faculty The assistant professors and the professor Thakur are highly professionals and good teachers though a few are not that really good but majority teachers are great

Hostel So I was looking for the hostel facilities at Thakur but I was unable to get any. The college does not have any hostel of it is on and other hostels that are in partner with it or not to great

Overall Thakur college is autonomous college located in mumbai kandivali east is affiliated to mumbai university it was very good and teaching staff was helpful and good infrastructure and surrounding environment was very good
