VCET Vasai - Admission 2024, Fees, Courses, Placement, Ranking

Overall: Overall review of college good and there are fest conduct in even sem in the month of Jan,so u can show your skill on that,but fest are not that good so you can't get that big colleges vibe.

Placement: Placements are good with companies that hire here are mostly unicorn and MNC's like Accenture,Godrej ,TCS , Media.bet, Infosys and JP Morgan,etc.Student with high skills and confident get better placements and overall placement are excellent.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of vcet is quite good with every require equipments for engineering. Buildings are perfect and canteen is good too. Computer labs are excellent.I think infrastructure are more than enough...Just ground is small and rest are perfect.

Hostel: The college does not provide hostel.But for students who are coming from far away you can get PG here nearby college.But if you want college with hostel , so this is not for your option.

Overall: Academic wise it's average as they only give more concentration on theoretical subject other than coding. And the fests are not that good and only one fest in a year

Placement: It also matters on skills but avg package is a way bit lower and highest package of 2023 is 7 lpa which I think might not excite many of us but the company visiting this college are goid

Infrastructure: It's very old and old looking from outside but it's good from inside. The classrooms are big enough for 60-70 students per batch .labs are good with enough of computers

Faculty: Few faculties are way better but some faculties are definitely not as few professor give you pressure like a school student and managements are not that good as they mess up things sometimes

Hostel: No hostels provided by college as it is under Mumbai university.you have to take sharing pg which is affordable if you are 3-4 person in a room. U can take pg or flats near to college

Overall: It's a great experience to be a part of this college. Academics as well as co curricular activities go hand in hand. With such a huge campus, supportive staff & faculty, this is one of the best college in the whole of Vasai-Virar and Palghar district. And this college is 5 minutes walking distance from Vasai Road Railway Station as well as ST bus stand.

Placement: This college has Placements And Trainings Cell (PAT CELL) Which conducts placement drives and training for all the students ever since first year. Every year they hold AMCAT tests, which is a kind of mock aptitude test, hold seminars regarding placements, industrial visits and also conduct certification courses.

Infrastructure: The college has great Infrastructure. It it a 5 floored building complex which even plans on adding more floors. There is a separate building for central library which spans 3 storeys. There is ample space for parking and also garden/lawn area in the front. The college has a volleyball court, a box cricket sized ground, a stage area to host events and also a central area which has cement flooring. Also the college shares its campus with Anna Bhausaheb Vartak Junior & Polytechnic College.

Faculty: The non teaching staff's behaviour is well and quite supportive. Some may be ill behaved. The faculty is experienced and supportive towards the students. They're quite friendly to talk with. Some faculty are quite knowledgeable and master in their subjects while some even hold a PhD degree. Many professors are also pursuing PhD degree. But some faculty do lack the knowledge of the subject while some are rude with students. Many faculty members might not be comfortable speaking English and some are quite weak in spoken English. But almost everyone is fluent with Marathi as it is the local language here.

Hostel: This college does not provide any hostel facility. If you're someone coming from far, you've to arrange the PG/Hostel service yourself. You can find roommates to share rooms and also you may find decent PGs or Hostels near the college in Vasai or even in Vasai-Virar. Girls can avail 'only girls' Hostel/PG services too.

Overall: Great college with excellent student friendly faculty also all the staff is very helpful in nature. It is one of the prime institute in Vasai Virar Region

Placement: There are various branches suvh as Computer , IT , Extc , Civil Mechanical and all the braches have various placement records. Civil Engineering is now at the boom as there is also various company are hiring at a very good annual package.

Infrastructure: All the lab and all the facility are very good. Infrastructure of the college is good , also it is convenient as the college is just 2 mins walking distance from the station.

Faculty: All the faculties are very well mannered and student friendly faculty. faculty responses to eag and every question of the student . Also there is a mentor or psychological mentor faculty who is trained to understand and listen the concern of student.

Hostel: There is no hostel facility available in the college yet , but there are many of my friends who have shifted here for there studies from about 600+ km distance

Overall: Average package is 4 LPA and maximum on off campus is 21 LPA and on campus it is 8 LPA Amazing College with minimum percentile you can get computer engineering

Placement: Placement of okay , not too good not to bad , as I told above average is 4-5 LPA and minimum is 2 LPA and maximum is 21 LPA which is basically off campus placement

Infrastructure: It has good infrastructure small garden beside it also ot contains Netaji subhas chandra bose Idol in front of gate also very close to station so no issue of traveling

Faculty: As in every sector there are some good employees and some are not similarly there are some good faculties especially for maths , chemistry , physics (PHD Holder ) Mechanic and graphics sir is best who himself is studied from IIT BOMBAY
