Vishwakarma Institute of Technology Pune Cutoff 2026

VIT Pune cutoff trends from 2022–2025 reveal a clear upward trajectory driven by its autonomous status, NAAC A++ grade, and massive 3,720-seat intake for 2026. Official MHT CET Round-3 closing percentiles for Open category rose from 92.8%ile (2022) to 93.7%ile (2025) in Computer Engineering and from 97.5%ile to 98.4%ile in Civil Engineering — the highest-closing branch each year. Premium AI/CS branches consistently demand 97–98%ile, while core branches like Mechanical and ENTC hover around 97%ile.

Category-wise, OBC candidates secure seats just 0.2–0.4 percentile below Open, SC at 3–5 percentile lower, and ST at 12–14 percentile relaxation. TFWS seats close 1–1.5 percentile above regular Open. JEE Main All India quota (15% seats) typically requires CRL 2,500–16,000 depending on branch. With applicant numbers growing 8–10% annually, expect 2026 cutoffs to rise another 0.3–0.6 percentile across most branches. Aspirants targeting Computer, AI-ML, or AI & DS must aim 98+ percentile in MHT CET or top 3,000 CRL in JEE Main for a realistic shot.

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology Pune Expected Cutoff 2026

Based on official CAP data from 2022-2024, expected 2026 MHT CET percentiles for Open category show a 0.2-0.5%ile rise for high-demand branches like Computer Engineering due to 10% applicant growth and AI focus. Projections factor in seat expansions to 3,720. JEE Main CRL ranks estimated similarly. Use for prep targets; official 2026 data post-CET results:

I am AX student of VIT Pune 2015. If you are planning education abroad post BTech then VIT is the best place since it has grading system. You are given CPI out of 10. This will help in admission process abroad. There are lots of extra curricular activities such as Film society, social work, aesthetics, cultural club, etc. let's talk about its placement they gives us very good placement when compared to other private engineering College of Pune. You may feel college is overcharging in case of re-exams, re-evaluation, etc. after all, it's a private institute, it does. Placement for electronics that is okay but very few place in core industries 85% have to go in IT companies but overall it's the best college in but overall it's the best college compare to all private colleges.

Because of its potential for the future, I opted for the B.Tech Artificial Intelligence programme. The programme was four years in duration and was industry oriented. The course structure was good, preparing us for the workplace. The fees for the programme was Rs 6.26 lakh per year. We got to learn about the various applications which included learning, self correction and reasoning. The campus was beautiful. The student crowd and faculty members were all very cooperative.

Hi student,

Based on the previous year’s trends, your admission chances in the course of MCA at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology with less marks in the MAH MCA CET 2025 exam are skeptical, as the college offers admission to students securing higher ranks. However, there are various other colleges that offer admission in the MCA course with less marks in the exam, such as P. R. Pote Patil College of Engineering & Management, Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute(VJTI), Mumbai Education Trust's Institute of Computer Science, Mumbai, etc.

We hope this answer clears your query.

 Hi student,

Based on the previous year exam analysis, securing 98 marks out of 200 in MAH MCA CET 2025 exam can get you a percentile ranging between 70-80. With this percentile, you can expect your rank to be around 5000-10000, which should be sufficient for admission to some of the good MCA colleges in Maharashtra. You can also check our MAH MCA CET 2025 marks vs Rank analysis to find more about your chances in the MAH MCA CET 2025 counselling process.

For Data Science Admissions, aiming for a 90-95+ percentile on exams like JEE Main (for B.Tech Courses) or a high GATE score (for M.Tech programs) is crucial, especially for top institutions, as data science is a competitive field. Data Analyst vs. Data Scientist: Which is a Better Career Option?

Data Science Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for various data science programs are as follows:
