Ambedkar University is a unitary non-affiliating university established in the year 2007 whose prime focus is on undergraduate and postgraduate studies as well as research in the field of social sciences and humanities. It is completely capitalized by the State Government of NCT Delhi. The university has been given an 'A' grade by NAAC or the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.

Online Admission 2017: How to Apply
The University has invited online applications for the admission to UG as well as PG programmes at the university.
- Visit the official website of the university.
- Register and login using your email ID.
- You will see the link to the Online Application Form.
- Go through the instructions attentively and then click on ‘continue’.
- Fill the application form with details such as containing personal details, qualifying examination details, programme choices, and payment options.
- After filling the application form click on ‘save’ button.
- After the completion of payment, your application form will be acknowledged automatically. Meanwhile, you will get a confirmation e-mail from ‘admission@aud.ac.in’ regarding payment detail.
- After the submission of form use the 'Download Report PDF' link in order to save the copy of your application.
- Applicants opting for demand draft should make sure that the DD along with a printout of filled in application form reaches the University before 4 p.m. on the last date of submission of applications.
