To coordinate all the ISB Hyderabad placement-related activities, there is a team known as Career Advancement Services also known as (CAS). It helps students in taking career-related decisions which are fruitful. It guides students to make informed decisions for their careers and ensures that they are placed in top-notch companies through the Indian School of Business Hyderabad placement drive. Various learning and training programmes are organised to enhance students' employability skills.
Candidates must also note that ISB offers campus placements to only those students who have taken admission in PGP programme of ISB Hyderabad. For other programmes, there is no campus placement. Career Advancement Services makes every effort to help students locate and acquire their desired job opportunities.
The entire Indian School of Business Hyderabad placement process takes about four months. It usually begins with a series of on-campus presentations along with providing the list of job postings. Students at this stage are provided with necessary information about recruiting companies and their presence in the national and global front. Next, pre-placement talks are conducted by recruiters. In the PPT sessions, recruiters discuss with the students about the companies' philosophy and what they expect from them once they accept the jobs. After the PPT session is over, students need to submit their 'expressions of interest (EOI)' to the recruiters. In the next stage, recruiters select students that they find suitable and provide the shortlisted student's list to the Career Advancement Services (CAS) team. CAS is the ISB Hyderabad placement cell that is responsible for the overall functioning of the placement process. The CAS team then get in touch with the shortlisted students. On-campus interviews are then conducted where the recruiting companies make the offers. In some cases, the companies conduct off-campus interviews as well. Most of the stages in the placement process occur within a ten-day window. The final interviews and placements continue for several months.
