The Centre for Learning and Management Practice at the Indian School of Business Hyderabad is organising a Case Writing and Teaching Workshop from May 5, 2023 to May 6, 2023 on the school premises. The motive behind the workshop is to promote effective learning and teaching with cases. The workshop is targeted towards faculty, case writers, doctoral students and research staff from the academic community across management disciplines and representatives from business and the Government such as heads of training departments, consultants and individuals teaching as visiting faculty at academic institutions. On April 10, 2023, ISB Hyderabad collaborated with the Department of Agriculture, Govt. of Odisha to strengthen linkages between agriculture & nutrition with a prime focus on lower-income households. A Climate Resilience Support Cell will be developed that will undertake research, exploration and analysis for building climate-resilient crop portfolios and agriculture pathways. The cell will also undertake research for identifying and understanding factors that affect the resilience of crops, farmers, and rural livelihoods in Odisha towards climate variability. ISB will also help the government in identifying policy innovations and pathways for a climate-resilient agriculture roadmap for Odisha. The MoU was signed in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture, Govt. of Odisha, Shri Ranendra Pratap Swain.
On April 4, 2023, the Indian School of Business Hyderabad launched its Blockchain Impact Lab in collaboration with S&P Global. ISB's DLabs Incubator Association (DLabs) took the step with the motive to help start-ups in the blockchain space to enhance societal impact. The lab is equipped with best-in-class technology, Ethereum Virtual Machine, Hyperledger Fabric, and multi-chain environments. Presently, it has four nodes and experts mentioned that it is sufficient for any kind of case setting. The lab will function both as a physical and virtual set-up and it implies that students can log in from anywhere. As per the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2023, the PGP programme of ISB bagged the first position. It has been ranked at the 39th position globally and 6th in Asia. The ISB Institute of Data Science (IIDS) and the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the ISB Hyderabad campus. In the presence of Sri V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, TSRTC and Professor Madan Pillutla, Dean, ISB, the MoU was signed by Professor Manish Gangwar, Executive Director, IIDS and Sri M. Rajasekhar, Chief Engineer (IT), TSRTC. According to Sri V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, the MoU will help TSRTC with route rationalisation and profit maximisation, and it will soon become a model for other transportation corporations. ISB Hyderabad along with IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Calcutta is conducting the 6th Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance (JAAF) India symposium at the ISB Hyderabad campus on January 6th and 7th, 2023. Authors were invited to submit their unpublished or rejected research paper in electronic form at JAAFsymposium_2023@isb.edu. There was no any submission fee. After that Symposium Program Committee shortlisted the papers for presentation based on the comments of reviewers, the quality of the work and the potential for contributing to the literature. Accepted papers for the Symposium were submitted to JAAF where the review for the journal was independent of the review for the symposium.

ISB and the Department of Mission Shakti, Government of Odisha signed an MoU for women’s empowerment and rural prosperity through a sustainable forest economy. Initially, both institutions will focus on women-led enterprises from six districts i.e., Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabrangpur, Rayagada, Mayurbhanj and Kendujhar, and is expected to benefit nearly 20 Lakh women across the six districts in 3 years.

Indian School of Business Hyderabad's information systems wing will host the 14th edition of Conference on the Digital Economy (CODE) on January 3 - 5, 2023 at Taj Malabar resort and spa-Kochi, India. A total of 222 recruiting companies visited the ISB campus drive and 1578 offers were made to students. As per the ISB Hyderabad placement report for the PGP Class of 2023, 73% of those placed were able to shift functions while 79% moved to a new sector. The average CTC has been recorded at Rs 34.21 lakhs. The report said that there was an increase in average CTC of 2.5% compared to last year. The top industries in terms of offers were Consulting, IT/ITES/Technology, BFSI, and FMCG/Retail.
