Dagestan State Medical University is a government University which was established in the year 1932 after the Council of Peoples Commissars adopted a historic resolution of Dagestan State Medical Institute foundation. The University is one of the most prestigious colleges which is established in Makhachkala City which is the capital of the Dagestan Republic. The University is officially recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, NMC, UNESCO and WHO. As per the ranking, the country rank of the University is 336, and the world rank of the University is 8183. It has also been awarded European Quality, Laureate of the International Award by the International Corporation of Social Partnership - European Business Assembly.

The Dagestan State Medical University has a world-class educational background full of opportunities and ideas that has shaped the career of thousands of students.
