The Ivanovo State Medical Academy is a Russian Federation state educational institution dedicated to the advancement of culture, science and education via research and training at all levels of higher postgraduate and further medical education. The Ivanovo State Medical Academy was founded on the 16th of June, 1930 in Ivanovo, which is situated in the northeast of the Russian capital Moscow. The medical academy is one of the oldest MBBS institutions in Russia that have trained over 25000 medical professionals or doctors to date. Ivanovo State Medical Academy is one of Russias top medical academies and one of the worlds top medical academies. Ivanovo State Medical Academy is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC), World Health Organization (WHO), Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) and the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE). The medical academy is affiliated with the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
