Campus Environment & Location

Overall: Located in Action Area II, New Town, the campus is clean, spacious, and modern, surrounded by greenery and away from the noise of central Kolkata. The main academic building is an architectural landmark, with a smart design and wide corridors. The campus is gated and secured 24/7, giving students a safe and peaceful environment for studies and activities.

Placement: Companies Visiting: Major recruiters include TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, and Capgemini. Startups and mid-size companies also visit for internships and placements, especially for CSE/IT branches. Placement Cell: Active placement cell conducts soft skills training, mock interviews, and resume building workshops.

Infrastructure: Classrooms: All classrooms are smart classrooms, equipped with projectors, whiteboards, and proper ventilation. Some rooms have centralized AC. Labs: Advanced computer, electronics, mechanical, civil, and science labs are available. Each department has dedicated lab space. Library: Large central library with a growing digital and physical collection of books, journals, and research materials. Wi‑Fi: Campus-wide Wi‑Fi is available but occasionally experiences slow speeds during peak usage hours.

Faculty: Highly Qualified Teachers: Most professors hold PhDs or are postgraduates from reputed institutes like IITs, NITs, Jadavpur University, and AMU. Friendly & Supportive: Faculty members are approachable and helpful, especially during project work, research, and doubt-clearing sessions.

Hostel: Separate hostels for boys and girls located within the main campus. Rooms are spacious (2–3 sharing), furnished, and have attached bathrooms in some blocks. Hostel mess serves both veg and non-veg food. Quality is decent and regularly reviewed. Common areas, washing machines, water filters, reading zones, and Wi-Fi access are availa

Overall: Aliah university is on the middle of Newtown that's why it grabs the attention of private companies. It has a low competitive admission test with qualityeducation.

Placement: Placements are quite good in this university but you can't get high packages from here like people do from IIT or NIT . As its a new established university so it's Placement is satisfactory.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is well established as the library, canteen and common rooms , and other places are well structured. There are so many classrooms.

Faculty: Faculties of aliah university are very helpful especially the professors . They actually teach main core topics si that it can help us in placements and upcoming life.

Overall: Aliah university is on the middle of Newtown that's why it grabs the attention of private companies. It has a low competitive admission test with quality education qualification and the campus is well structured. Canteen is good. Teachers are supportive. You can prepare for other exams like GATE UPSC while studying here as the environment of library is very attractive towards study. Overall whole of the campus is really goo❤️❤️ I am proud as an Aliahn...

Placement: Placements are quite good in this university but you can't get high packages from here like people do from IIT or NIT . As its a new established university so it's Placement is satisfactory. Students of aliah university working abroad for example Ambaareen azam , she works in Germany. You can view her LinkedIn profile. So Placement scenario is looking futuristic and growing...

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is well established as the library, canteen and common rooms , and other places are well structured. There are so many classrooms. You can use those classrooms as study places for off time. And it's very clean whole the campus.

Faculty: Faculties of aliah university are very helpful especially the professors . They actually teach main core topics si that it can help us in placements and upcoming life. But the clerks have rude behaviour. And they always tried to abuse students.

Hostel: Hostel rooms of aliah university is well structured and designed but the problem is there are so many students from outside of bengal and having a far distance of their house from Newton that's why mire rooms needed to help them financially.
