Aliah University, also known as AU, is a government university established in the year 2008. Located in Kolkata, West Bengal, the university is administered under the Government of West Bengal. The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The institute has not been ranked by NIRF in recent years according to available data. Aliah University offers a total of over 50 courses at the undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and doctoral (PhD) levels. At the undergraduate level, the university offers courses like BTech, BSc, BA, and BBA, while at the postgraduate level, it offers MTech, MSc, MA, MBA, and MCA.
