Moraine Valley Community College was established in 1967. It is a public community college situated in Palos Hills, Illinois, Chicago. Located in a suburban area, the college has a total enrollment of over 14,000 students. Moraine Community Valley is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Besides this, the academic programs are accredited by many associations. Moraine Valley Community College is one of the largest in Illinois state and has seen steady growth in enrollment over the decades. It is the nation’s one of the premier two-year institutions of higher education.

Moraine Valley Community College offers around 130 programmes with an updated curriculum that help them meet the demands of a changing world. The expert faculty, vibrant campus culture, state-of-the-art learning facilities and programmes that provide skillsets of industry standards to its students. Some of the alumni members of the college are Richaun Diante Holmes(American professional basketball player), Matthew Haag(Former professional American Call of Duty player), Dale Kooyenga(United States Army reservist), Saul White Jr.(Basketball Player), Paul Gust Vallas(American politician), Jordan Moeller(American figure skater) and Robert "Bob" Rita(Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives ).

Moraine Valley Community College has a total enrollment of over 14,000 students. In the 1970s, the college only had 40 international students. With Moraine Valley’s continuous development in the field of higher education, the number of international students in the college has increased to over 300. The intensive English programmes, cross-cultural counselling, housing assistance and airport arrival services are a few reasons behind the escalating numbers of international applicants.
