CCMN 2024: Dates, Registration, Eligibility, Choice Filling, Seat Allotment, Cutoff, Participating Institutes

CCMN 2024 - CCMN Counselling Schedule 2024 will be released in the first week of June 2024. One of the NITs will be conducting the CCMN counselling for the academic year 2024-25. The counselling registration process will commence soon after the schedule is released. Qualified candidates of the IIT JAM 2024 exam, and those who could not obtain admission in IITs can register for CCMN counselling. Around 25 days will be given to complete the registration process.  

CCMN is a centralized counselling process conducted for those candidates who wish to pursue an MSc or MSc (Tech) from one of the National Institute of Technologies (NITs) or Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). The candidates also need to have a valid JAM score to be able to apply for the CCMN counselling for MSc/MSc (Tech) admissions in one of the NITs or CFTIs. In addition to the IIT-JAM scores, the candidates will be required to fulfil some eligibility criteria as well.  Each year, the CCMN is conducted by different NITs on a rotational basis. CCMN 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before registering for the CCMN 2024 counselling process, it is important that the aspirants should be well aware of the CCMN 2024 eligibility criteria provided in pointer format below -

• The applicants should have appeared in the JAM 2024 exam and should have qualified the same with the minimum required cutoff marks

• Applicants must have at least scored 60% aggregate marks (55% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD category candidates) in their qualifying exam

• Applicants must produce all their relevant documents to support their claim during the CCMN 2024 counselling process

• Applicants must make sure they do not cross the maximum age limit at the time of registering for the CCMN 2024 counselling process

• The applicants must ensure they go through the detailed eligibility criteria for the programme in which they wish to get admission and not the other programmes

CCMN 2024 Application Form

The CCMN 2024 application form has been released on June 05, 2024. The applicants have to ensure they fill out the CCMN 2024 application form very carefully with the correct details and provide the correct choices as far as the institutions are concerned. After it, the applicants have to upload all the required documents and finally submit the CCMN 2024 online application fee to submit their application forms for the CCMN counselling process.

The CCMN 2024 application fee which has to be submitted by the applicants is INR 3,000/- (Rs. 2,500 for SC/ ST/ PwD). The seat acceptance fee for the General/ General EWS and OBC category is Rs. 30,000, and the same for SC/ ST/ PwD is Rs. 10,000.

CCMN 2024 Choice Filling

• The CCMN 2024 choice-filling step is an integral part of the CCMN 2024 registration cum application process

• According to the data furnished by the applicants during the previous year, in the CCMN 2024 registration process, choices will appear in front of them from which they have to provide their own choices

• It is important that the candidates provide the maximum number of choices from the available options as per his/her preference to be on the safer side

• The candidates can also modify the order of their choices before the final submission

• The seat allotment will be done as per the choices provided by the candidates during their choice-filling round

• If any candidate forgets to lock his/her choices before the last date to do so, the system will choose on his/her behalf automatically

CCMN Cutoff 2024

According to the performance of the applicants in the JAM 2024 exam and the number of seats vacant in each institution, the CCMN 2024 cutoff list will be released by the officials. On the basis of the CCMN cutoff list and the availability of seats in the desired programme in the desired institution, the allocation of seats to the candidates will be done. The CCMN 2024 cutoff list will consist of the opening and closing scores. There will be three cutoff lists that will be released by the officials. If at the conclusion of the third round of seat allotment on the basis of the third CCMN cutoff list seats remain vacant, those vacant seats will be filled by the National Spot Round.

CCMN 2024 Seat Allotment Process

The CCMN 2024 seat allotment process will be carried out in three rounds after the release of the CCMN 2024 cutoff list three times. If a candidate is allocated a seat, he/she has to submit the counselling participation fee via the ICICI bank EazyPay. To confirm a seat allocated to the candidate, he/she has to pay a sum of 30,000 (10,000 for SC/ ST)/- rupees as CCMN counselling confirmation fee and thereafter, they can download the provisional admission letter.
