The article below talks about the top GFTIs in India, their admission process and fee structure. All the GFTIs in India are funded by the Government of India. Admission to the Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) is done by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority. The admissions to the list of GFTIs colleges in India is done on the basis of merit obtained in the JEE Main 2024.

The JEE Main rank is determined on the basis of the scores of JEE Main plus the class 12 marks in the ratio (60:40). Therefore, along with their JEE preparations, students should also focus on the CBSE Class 12th Syllabus. All the GFTIs in India have to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority - JoSAA process which is primarily conducted for the candidates who have qualified for the JEE Main exam. GFTIs in India provide a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate courses. Candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria for securing admission into these courses. Entrance Exams for Admission into GFTIs

GFTIs in India take into consideration the scores of National level entrance examinations such as GATE, JEE Main, CAT for providing admissions across different courses. Candidates are required to qualify for an entrance examination and participate in the further counselling process followed by a personal interview. GFTI Counselling Registration Process 2024

To participate in the JoSAA counselling process 2024, candidates have to register themselves online through the official website of JoSAA. Candidates can log in by using their respective JEE Main exam roll numbers. Candidates are not required to fill in any other personal or academic details to register for JoSAA. All the details will be directly taken from the student's JEE Main and JEE Advanced application forms. However, candidates will have to update their contact details while applying for the centralised counselling process conducted by JoSAA.

GFTI Choice Filling through JoSAA 2024

Candidates who qualify for the JEE Main exam are considered eligible for admission to the courses offered by the different GFTIs in India. The first step in GFTI seat allocation is to select the stream and the institute in which the candidate is interested to apply. Once the candidates have selected the steam, they will have to arrange the choice as per their preference. One must ensure that the choice of streams is filled in the order of preference - most preferred to least preferred. This can be done through the Arrange Filled Choices option available on the JoSAA official website. Ensure that you fill in the choices as per your interest and only then submit the options. 

GFTI Counselling and Seat Allotment 2024

The counselling dates for admission to the Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) will be provided in the table above as indicated by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority. Only those candidates who qualify for JEE Main 2024 will be able to take part in the GFTI counselling. The seat allotment for GFTIs will be done on the basis of the rank and score achieved by a candidate in the JEE Main exam. Since the year, the JEE Main exam is conducted twice by the NTA, it is an opportunity for students to better their scores with the two choices of attempts. Dear Ankit, yes, Shri Labhubhai Trivedi Institute of Engineering & Technology, Rajkot offers a number of scholarships to students. These SLTIET scholarships are based on merit, financial need, and other factors. If a student’s percentage is above 90, the fees will only be Rs 33,000 per year and if the percentage is above 80, the fees will only be Rs 45,000 per year for the BE programmes.
