CBSE Class 10 Social Science Weightage 2026 provides information about the marking scheme of topics. The SST syllabus includes a total of 4 sections with different units. The theory paper will be conducted for 80 marks, with 20 marks allotted for project work. Check details here.

CBSE Class 10 Social Science Weightage 2026 can be found on the official website of the CBSE Academics at cbseacademic.nic.in. The Social Science syllabus is divided into four sections. These sections are History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics. A total of 22 chapters are included in all the sections combined. You are required to give equal importance to all four sections, as 20 marks are allotted for each section, which makes the total 80. The theory paper will be conducted for 80 marks, and 20 marks will be allotted for the internal assessment. You are also required to submit a particular project work during the internal assessment.
