- The applicant has to enter their basic details like name, gender, date of birth, Aadhaar number, PAN number, mother’s name and father’s name.

- Enter your contact details including your mobile number, alternative mobile number and email address.
- Passport and VISA details such as passport number, passport expiry date, visa number, visa expiry date, I-20 form if applicable and other unique ID also have to be provided.
- The applicant has to enter their bank account details which include IFSC code, bank name, branch name, account number and account type.
- Guardian’s/ Co-borrowers (in the absence of father and mother) details like Guardian’s/ Co-borrower's name, Guardian’s/ Co-borrower’s gender, mobile number, email ID, Aadhaar number, PAN number, and relationship with the applicant.
- The address of the Guardian/ Co-borrower is also needed.

Residential Requirement
The applicant must be an Indian citizen to apply for the WB Student Credit Card. To get your loan sanctioned to study abroad, the applicant or his family must have been a resident of West Bengal for at least 10 years before filing the application form. The applicant must have a West Bengal voter card during the application process.
Age Limit
To apply for the WB Student Credit Card, the student who wants to study abroad must be at least 15 years of age. The maximum age limit for the students has been fixed to 40 years at the time of application. This provides opportunities to students who have started their careers or those who have completed their basic degrees but want to pursue higher studies.
Educational Qualification
Students must have completed their Class 12 with no backlogs from a recognised board to qualify for the West Bengal Student Credit Card loan application. They must be enrolled in Class 10 or 12 or higher education in recognized institutions.
